A Simple Way To Submit Reports To The New Medicine Hub

You will have heard of the new Medicine Hub by AHDB for collating medicine use for cattle and sheep. The data can be entered by producers, or an authorised 3rd party, such as a vet. We have worked closely with AHDB to allow our users to send information direct to the Medicine Hub using VetIMPRESS AMU functionality.

Why Use VetIMPRESS To Submit Your Medicines Return?

  • We work with many of the UK PMS providers, making AMU reporting possible in a few simple clicks.
  • Minimise data duplication and use software you are already familiar with.
  • Share data on behalf of your clients in a way that is sensible and controlled.
  • Increase conversations with farm clients and turn AMU into a service you offer your clients.

We work with many PMS providers in the UK, where permissioned medicine data flows from these systems into VetIMPRESS.
In our platform we standardise this data based on the type of medicine and quantity used.
This enables you to share standardised data with Medicine Hub in two ways:

#1 Use VetIMPRESS Permissions Engine To Send Basic Data To Medicine Hub

VetIMPRESS permissions engine enables you to send your farmers basic data including date of medicine purchase and quantity to Medicine Hub. You then work in Medicine Hub to organise this data, assign it to animals or enterprises on the farm and complete a Medicines Return.

#2 Use VetIMPRESS AMU Functionality To Create & Submit Completed AMU Reports

Within VetIMPRESS you have the functionality to create AMU reports for discussion with your farm clients. With this option you create the report in VetIMPRESS and submit it to Medicine Hub with the data already assigned, thereby creating the Medicines Return instantly.

This option enables to to control what information you send across to Medicine Hub, create reports by enterprise instead of holding and provides an opportunity to turn AMU into a service for your clients by adding value to their business.
